Yes, storm 7 is on the way. The updated outlook for this storm strengthens it now and moves the centre of it over the northern parts of Scotland only. This actually means that winds in the Irish channel could gust to 70+mph. This storm will move through quite slowly and will hit from Monday night all the way through to Wednesday morning before moving out into the north sea. The main problem of the storm will be wind, which pretty much any where could cause damage. Please look at our warnings page to keep updated with the latest information on the storm. the central pressure is still expected to become 984mb and it should sustain that pressure until it is well over Scandinavia. A cold front associated with this storm will work its way eastwards causing some heavy rain which could cause localised flooding in the west.
