A recap of storm 1 It was named on the 6th October and has lasted until the 9th. It brought flooding rain to the whole of the country and strong winds. There were 6 tornado reports from the south west and Wales. There were no reported deaths or injury's.
Since then there has been a lot of rain, but only from the outer bands of low pressure systems that the centres haven't come onto our shores. There have been low pressure systems that have had there centres come on to our shores but they have been at pre-depression stage. The outlook sees us staying quiet, however there is a bit of uncertainty of how close the centre of an Atlantic low pressure system will come to our shores on Friday evening through to Sunday evening. After that high pressure should start to build in from the north and keep our weather cool and dry with overnight frosts for many!

The outlook for our storms are looking quiet as the centres of low pressure systems look to stay well to the north of us meaning that there are no named storms on the horizon. However this doesn't mean that there won't be any rain as the out bands of the systems will be effecting the UK in between drier and brighter intervals.
