Issued at 10:03 on Sat 25 June Valid from 12:00 to 21:00 on Sat 25 June Showers are expected to break out later on Saturday morning and become heavy, thundery and slow-moving during the afternoon. Some locations will miss the downpours, but where they do occur, please be aware of the risk of localised surface water flooding, especially where they affect urban areas. Updated 1208 on Fri 24 June Valid from 1210 to 2300 on Fri 24 June Heavy and possibly thundery showers will develop and become widespread during the afternoon. These showers are likely to be slow-moving, so could bring large amounts of rainfall in a short period of time. However, due to their scattered nature, there will be areas which avoid them. Showers will then gradually die away through the evening. Please be aware of possible disruption to travel and localised surface flooding as well as lightning. The intense thunderstorms that have caused some flooding overnight will ease this morning but further big storms are expected later today.
