YELLOW WARNING of FOG for parts of NORTHERN IRELAND
Fog, locally dense, is becoming more widespread on Wednesday evening across western and central parts of Northern Ireland. Visibilities of less than 100 metres in places may result in some tricky driving conditions. Some freezing fog patches may also develop overnight. The fog will slowly clear again on Thursday morning. The public should be aware of the risk of some disruption to transport overnight and tomorrow morning. Valid from 1800 on Wednesday untill 1000 on Thursday There are flood warnings in force in the following regions:
ANGLIAN (2) YELLOW WARNING for FOG for SOUTHERN BRITAIN
Patchy fog is expected to form soon after dark on Monday across many parts of southern and central England, East Anglia and east Wales. The fog is expected to become quite widespread and locally dense and freezing during the evening with visibility reducing to less than 100 metres in places. The fog is likely to persist into Tuesday morning's rush hour across a swathe from east Wales across the Midlands into parts of East Anglia. However, it may well begin to disperse across southern England by this time, as cloud starts to increase from the south. The public should be aware that disruption to transport is possible. In view of the uncertainty surrounding amounts of fog southern England by morning, this warning may be updated. Valid from 1900 on Monday until 1000 on Tuesday. YELLOW WARNING of RAIN
This warning is in force for southeast England and eastern parts of East Anglia. Persistent and locally heavy rain will continue through much of today. With the rain falling on saturated ground, it may cause flooding in places before clearing away slowly eastwards later today. The public should be aware of this hazard. This is an update to the warning to reduce its northwestward extent. Valid on Sunday from 0300 until 2100. There is a flood warning in force in the following region:
SOUTHEAST [1] ANGLIAN (2) YELLOW WARNING of RAIN
This warning is in force for parts of southeast England. Rain will be persistent and locally heavy through much of Sunday, with more than 20mm expected in places. Falling on saturated ground, it is likely to cause some surface water flooding in places before clearing eastwards. The public should be aware of this hazard. Valid on Sunday from 0300 until 2100. |
